Stefan Rose is one of the rising stars of fine British food. After growing up in the North East, Stefan moved to Leeds to study at university, which was where he discovered his interest in cooking. Upon graduation, he refined his craft before landing his first Head Pastry Chef position at the award-winning Create restaurant in Leeds. Since then, he has gained experience in numerous Michelin-starred kitchens, including the Box Tree in Ilkley, Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley and Jason Atherton’s Pollen Street Social. He joined the D&D London group in 2013 and excites diners at Crafthouse and Angelica in Leeds with unique desserts made from local and seasonal produce. Rose reached the semi-finals of the BBC show Bake Off: Crème de la Crème in 2016, impressing the judges with his creativity and craftsmanship.
