We’re very proud to announce that throughout June and July, D&D London will be partnering with charity Hospitality Action, who work to support hospitality workers and their families.
Over the course of the month, we will be fundraising in all our North venues by adding a voluntary £1 donation to every guest’s bill, so that Hospitality Action can provide the support for those that need it.
About Hospitality Action:
Behind their smiles and slick service, hospitality workers can fall upon hard times just like anybody else. Ours can be a stressful industry, with long hours, high pressure environment and physically demanding work.
Hospitality Action have assisted hospitality people for over 185 years. They were one of the first UK charities to mount an emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. As the pandemic unfolded, their response continually evolved to lessen the financial and mental health impact on the most vulnerable people in our industry.
Since the on-set of the pandemic, Hospitality Action have been able to assist some 7,000 hospitality households with nearly £2.5million in grants. All told they now provide a safety net for more than 170,000 UK hospitality workers and their families.
