Executive Head Chef, Murray Wilson

The kitchen at Crafthouse and Angelica is proudly run by Yorkshire-born Executive Head Chef, Murray Wilson.

Murray has more than 12 years of award-winning, global experience and a passion for refined and precise cooking. Murray joined us from Rudding Park Hotel in North Yorkshire, where he was Executive Chef at Horto, which was awarded 3AA stars under his direction.

His career began at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s, Mayfair, London before moving back north to Harrogate to fulfil the role of Head Chef at Hotel du Vin, Harrogate. This was followed by an appearance on Masterchef – The Professionals, where he reached the finals and a stint across the pond in Canada putting his Yorkshire stamp on prestigious restaurants.
